Con una “Letter of Apology” datata 15 maggio, il Comitato
organizzatore del 60° Congresso Mondiale della FIABCI ha comunicato
la cancellazione dell’ evento, che era in programma dal 19 al 23
			maggio 2009 a Pechino.

 «Dear registered delegates,

With elaborate efforts for more than half a year, we've made
everything ready for welcoming you to Beijing for the 60th FIABCI
World Congress. But now we regret to inform you that, due to the
reason of force majeure - the continuous spreading and diffusing of
H1N1 flu, the competent department of Chinese Government determines
upon careful and prudent study that, it's improper to convoke the
congress as scheduled. Even if there's only one suspected case,
there will be persons contacted; if there's a suspected patient in
Beijing Hotel, the entire congress will not be convened normally.
Therefore, to ensure the health of all the delegates, their families
and accompanying persons as well as the quality of congress, we
proposed to postpone the congress (including all the Committee
meeting from 18 to 20 May). We've reported this proposal formally to
FIABCI World President Mr.Luis Correa and Secretary General Mr.Bruno
Crosby. According to the reply of Secretary General Mr. Bruno
Crosby, we're responsible for giving you this notice directly.

The competent department of Chinese Government undertakes that, it
will direct China Real Estate Association to hold the meeting in
Beijing more successfully and more grandly when WHO and Chinese
Government cancel the alarm for H1N1 flu epidemics.

We'd like to extend our deep apology again for any inconvenience
caused by the postponed convening of the 60th FIABCI World Congress»
