«Hamburg-based Union Investment Real Estate AG has purchased the property “Changi Business Park 3”, located in Changi Business Park Vista, Singapore. The property with a GFA of 18,400 m² (200,000 sq ft) was purchased for some 33 million Euros for Union Investment’s UniImmo: Global fund. Changi Business Park 3 is the second investment for the fund in Singapore. The latest acquisition adds towards the fund’s diversification mainly due to the business park nature of the asset.
The unique architecture and extensive specifications not only visually distinguish the property from its neighbours but also won the property the Green Mark Award in Gold, obtained from the Singapore Building and Construction Authority in 2008, for its energy efficiency. The property with its close proximity to Changi International Airport, also enjoys good public transportation connection and an excellent road network.
