“Aberdeen Immobilien Kapitalanlagegesellschaft mbH has entered into a long-term renewal lease agreement with Deutsche Bank for its Polish head office in Warsaw. The property is directly held by the Open-ended Property Fund DEGI INTERNATIONAL.
The Focus Filtrowa building, which comprises a rental area of 34,000 m2, was built in 2000 and purchased by Aberdeen Immobilien for DEGI INTERNATIONAL in 2007. Despite the current real-estate market environment the high-quality, centrally-located property has held its own against numerous competitors, including new developments in the area.
The lease agreement, entered into with Deutsche Bank Polska S.A. and Deutsche Bank PBC S.A. for 9,900 m2, has a fixed term of seven years. Cushman & Wakefield acted as broker on behalf of Aberdeen.
Further commercial properties of the fund in Warsaw include the Metropolitan, Plac Pilsudskiego1-3, and the Marynarska Business Park, Ulica Tasmowa 7. Aberdeen Immobilien KAG now has a select portfolio of top-class modern office properties with a usable floor space totalling 120,000 m2 in the Polish capital” (CS della Società).
