Land Securities has announced that Trinity Leeds, its 1 million square foot shopping centre development which will be the only major scheme in Western Europe to complete next year, will be opening its doors to the public on 21st March 2013, the first day of spring.Trinity Leeds, designed by internationally renowned British architects Chapman Taylor will open its doors to an anticipated 200,000 people of Leeds with a fanfare of entertainment.Trinity Leeds is set to become one of the UK’s biggest retail beacons with a forecast footfall of 23 million visitors in its first year. It is already 80% pre-let or in solicitors’ hands havingalready attracted international brands and boutiques to Leeds including Urban Outfitters, Superdry, Hollister, and Mango. Anchors include a flagship three storey Primark, Marks & Spencer, Next, and Topshop. D&D London will be adding two roof top restaurants in Trinity Leeds to its portfolio of acclaimed eateries in London, Paris, New York, Copenhagen and Tokyo. Boutique cinema chain Everyman will open its first venue outside of London, providing Trinity Leeds with a film offer that sits independent cinema alongside screenings of the latest blockbuster movies.
