Paris, 22 Christophe Cuvillier, Group Chief Executive Officer of Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield, will deliver a keynote speech on the future of retail and of shopping centres to MAPIC delegates on Wednesday November 14th.
Organised by Reed MIDEM, MAPIC, the International Retail Real Estate Market, will be held in Cannes from 14 to 16 November 2018.

In his keynote speech, Christophe Cuvillier will:
- Share his view on bricks and mortar stores which present major economic opportunities regardless of perceived ‘headwinds’
- Analyse the opportunities of the omnichannel model which is now considered the new norm, as illustrated by recent openings of physical stores by e-commerce players
- Explore the 21st century consumers’ expectactions and more specifically the younger generations’ expectations (Millenials and Generation Z) which lead retailers to assess and reinvent their value propositions and business models
- Outline the opportunities offered in a new generation of shopping centres that are becoming destinations which amalgamate online and physical brand experiences
‘Physical in the Age of Digital’ will be the flagship theme of MAPIC 2018.
