Etihad Airways, la compagnia area di Abu Dhabi, ha firmato un contratto di locazione (durata dieci anni) con SEB Asset Management , per circa 1.600 metri quadrati di spazi nella Linkstrasse 2: che fa parte della Potsdamer Platz a Berlino. Il vettore aprirà gli uffici - che costituiranno l’ HQ europeo- ad aprile 2013 .

Linkstrasse 2 is part of the Quartier Potsdamer Platz complex in Berlin-Mitte.
The urban quarter has gross floor space of 550,000 sqm and comprises 10 streets, 2 squares and 19 individual properties spanning different types of use – office, administrative, retail, residential and hotel buildings, entertainment facilities and catering outlets.
The Quartier Potsdamer Platz, which belongs to the SEB ImmoInvest open-ended real estate fund, was awarded a German Sustainable Building Council (DGNB) certificate for sustainable urban quarters in silver in October 2011.
Near-new rental space in prime and city-centre locations in Berlin is constantly in demand. At Quartier Potsdamer Platz alone, for example, leases have been signed or prolonged since the beginning of the year by Sydbank, Raue, Ströer, Daimler, Burda and most recently Etihad. The complex is over 97 percent let.
The building at Linkstrasse 2 in Berlin was designed by British architect Richard Rogers and features yellow sunblinds that automatically tilt in line with the light. Hydraulic skylights and planted atriums ensure almost completely natural climate control”.
