Baron William Henry Marie de Gelsey, member of the Warimpex Supervisory Board since 2007, has died on 26 February at the age of 99. The management and staff mourn William de Gelsey and commemorate his valuable and highly skilled work for the company, as well as the exceptionally good cooperation.
“William de Gelsey was an outstanding economist and banker whose life was shaped by his achievements, his faith and his charitable commitment. We will miss him very much and will remember him not only for his inspiring attitude to life, but also for the gentleman that he was. Our condolences go out to his family”, says Warimpex Supervisory Board Chairman Günter Korp on behalf of his colleagues.
Warimpex CEO Franz Jurkowitsch adds: “With William de Gelsey we have not only lost a seasoned expert, but also a good friend.”
His successor on the Warimpex Supervisory Board will be chosen at the next Annual General Meeting.
