La tedesca SEB AM vende il ”Maritim Hotel” di Berlino al Qatar

SEB Asset Management has signed for the open-ended real estate fund SEB ImmoInvest a
purchase agreement regarding the Maritim Hotel in Berlin at Stauffenbergstrasse 26 with ARTIC,
the hospitality arm of Al Faisal Holding, Qatar. The parties agreed not to disclose the selling
price. SEB and ARTIC contemplate to undertake further real estate transactions in the future.
The Maritim Hotel Berlin is located centrally in the Diplomatic Quarter in Berlin’s Tiergarten
district, between Kurfürstendamm and the Brandenburg Gate. Following a 26-month
construction period, the luxury four-star hotel was acquired for SEB ImmoInvest’s portfolio from
a developer in 2005. The hotel offers event facilities for up to 5,500 people in 49 rooms. The
hotel was designed by renowned architect Jan Kleihues in 1930s art deco style.
