Dabbel Automation Intelligence from Germany has won the PropTech Innovation Award 2019 from more than 150 applicants from 48 countries. In the final round, which was held yesterday in Berlin with 8 start-up companies in front of more than 300 guests, CEO Abel Samaniego convinced the jury in two rounds with his innovative concept: an AI-Autonomous Building Management System that reduces implementation, energy and operational costs significantly and simultaneously provides a healthier indoor environment. The audience-awarded Community Award went to Dabble as well.
The second prize went to the German proptech company Voxelgrid with its groundbreaking imaging solution for generating 2D and 3D building data for existing buildings. The 3rd prize was given to Bao Living from Belgium for their products that make construction of living spaces more affordable and more sustainable.
The prize was awarded for the third time by Union Investment and the German Tech Entrepreneurship Center (GTEC) with the aim of promoting start-ups whose innovative ideas give new impetus to the real estate industry. The PropTech Innovation Award is endowed with a total of 40,000 euros. The competition was supported this year by Berlin Partner, Reed Midem, RICS and ZIA.
