Professor Giacomo Morri, Ph.D., MRICS, has joined the EPRA Research Committee. The purpose of the Research Committee is to invest in high quality, independent academic research related to European listed real estate sector on topics relevant to EPRA members, and to help provide a focused research resource to members. EPRA, the European Public Real Estate Association, is the voice of the publicly traded European real estate sector. Founded in 1999, EPRA is a not-for-profit association registered in Belgium. With more than 275 members, covering the whole spectrum of the listed real estate industry (companies, investors and their suppliers), EPRA represents over EUR 450 billion of real estate assets and 94% of the market capitalisation of the FTSE EPRA Nareit Europe Index.
Giacomo Morri is Faculty Deputy and Associate Professor of Practice in Corporate Finance and Real Estate at SDA Bocconi School of Management and Real Estate Finance lecturer at Bocconi University. He was director of the Master in Real Estate, of the Executive Master in Corporate Finance and Banking and he was in charge of real estate executive education. He has published several books and articles on real estate, finance, appraisal, REITs and investment funds. He is past president and a board member of the European Real Estate Society.
