Another new generation IntercityHotel has joined the Deutsche Hospitality portfolio.
The
four-star IntercityHotel Hannover Hauptbahnhof Ost opened its doors for
business on 10 February to become the second hotel in the city to
operate under the brand. It houses 220 guest
rooms spread over 14 storeys as well as offering a restaurant, a Bistro
Lounge and five conference rooms. Interior design once again bears the
characteristic signature of the Italian architect Matteo Thun. The
IntercityHotel Hannover Hauptbahnhof Ost is positioned
in the upper midscale segment. Its central location on the eastern side
of Hanover’s main railway station provides excellent transport links.
There is also a public car park within the immediate vicinity, from
which the hotel can be accessed directly.
“We are delighted to be able to welcome the first guests to this new
location at the heart of the international trade fair centre of
Hanover,” said Joachim Marusczyk, founding Managing Director of
IntercityHotel GmbH. “We would like to thank our partners and
all other parties involved for enabling us to complete work on such an
impressive structure and to write another chapter in the success story
of IntercityHotel.” The pentagonally shaped building features a façade
clad in coloured glazed clay elements and a
partial glass frontage. It is operated via a lease agreement. The contractual partner in this case is the property company bauwo Grundstücksgesellschaft mbH.
More than 40 other IntercityHotels can be found at major transport hubs in cities both in Germany and abroad.
They offer modern conference facilities and accommodation.
