AXA Real Estate appoints Nathalie Charles as Regional Head of Asset Management and Transactions for Southern Europe
AXA Real Estate Investment Managers , the leading real estate portfolio and asset manager in Europe, with over €45 billion (Source: INREV Survey 2012 published in June 2013) of assets under management as of March 2013, today announces the appointment of Nathalie Charles ( pictured) as Regional Head of Asset Management and Transactions, Southern Region.
Reporting to Anne Kavanagh, Global Head of Asset Management and Transactions, Nathalie will assume managerial responsibility for Southern Europe, including France, Spain and Italy. Nathalie will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of managing AXA Real Estate’s assets in the region, including acquisitions, disposals, lettings and development.
Nathalie joins AXA Real Estate from her role as Managing Director of Corporate Real Estate at EDF Group (“EDF”). During her five years at EDF, Nathalie led the asset, property and facility management activities across EDF and its subsidiaries in France, with a portfolio of 4.5 million sqm. Prior to EDF Nathalie spent 12 years at the Unibail-Rodamco Group, during which time she held various positions overseeing office, retail and large development projects in the Paris region.
