However, the redesign will not only bring the Arkaden up to the latest technical standards. Brookfield Properties, the asset manager of Potsdamer Platz, has developed a new concept for the location and has added an international sustainable market hall concept as a new anchor tenant. In addition, the company is working together with Berlin’s central district Mitte to improve the experience of residents, pedestrians and consumers on the streets and squares at Potsdamer Platz.
