EuroShop 2014 bigger than ever before: 2.200 exhibitors, more than 115.000 m² net exhibition space in 16 halls
EuroShop, The Global Retail Trade Fair in Düsseldorf, will be held from 26 February to 2 March 2011 in Düsseldorf. With more than 115.000 m² net exhibitions space and approx. 2.200 exhibitors from 57 countries, EuroShop 2014 will be bigger than ever before. It is both the world’s most important capital goods trade fair for the retail trade and its partners and also an indispensable platform for tangible future trends, visions and impressions.
Four areas in 16 halls will offer a fascinating variety of opportunities:
The EuroConcept area spans a broad range – from shopfitting, architecture and store design, through lighting, to refrigeration equipment, innovative materials and flooring.
EuroSales focuses on the shopping experience at the POS and appeals to all the senses, including product presentation, visual marketing and merchandising.
The segment EuroCIS showcases the latest retail technology solutions in customer service, POS technology and mobile shopping as well as in ERP, supply chain management and loss prevention. It’s also a segment where e-commerce and multichannel strategies are becoming increasingly important.
EuroExpo is the number-one address for live marketing professionals and communication specialists – visitors from the retail trade, industry and the service sector who are searching for new ideas in trade fair construction, designs and special events.
The success of EuroShop is warranted by the fact that Messe Düsseldorf is continually working on its recipes for success. In 2014, for instance, the booming area of retail lighting will not only have a hall of its own, but will also feature a Lighting Designer’s Zone for the first time, a zone that is dedicated specially to lighting designers and planners. Visual Merchandising in Hall 4 will be an inspiration for everyone with an interest in shop-window mannequins and high-quality decoration and interior design.
Well established, high-calibre forums will include the Architecture & Design Forum, the ECO Forum, the EuroCIS Forum, the Multi-Channel Forum and the POPAI Forum (all with simultaneous German/English interpreting), and also special features such as the EuroShop Designer Village and the POPAI Village as perfect complements to the wide-ranging stands presented by the exhibitors.
Moreover, EuroShop will be held in parallel with the prestigious Retail Design Conference, which will include two award ceremonies: the EuroShop Retail Design Award and the much-coveted Retail Technology Awards Europe (reta).
