MSCI published late yesterday its 2022 market size report. Below is a screen shot of the global rankings.
The overall size of the global market for professionally managed real estate investments declined 4.1% to US$13.3 trillion. Europe represented 30.4% of this global market at US$4 trillion – a 9.8% drop (in dollar terms) from 2021.
In Europe, the U.K. notably slipped into fourth place behind Japan because of the sharp decline in industrial property values, the report says.
