Le mie ricette per la real estate communityThe first BIG EASY restaurant in continental Europe is coming to Berlin´s Potsdamer Platz. BIG EASY and Brookfield Properties are remodelling two floors in Linkstraße 2 to create approximately 1,840 square metres of high-quality restaurant space. This iconic BIG EASY operation will offer home smoked barbecue, seafood, lobster, shrimp, a big selection of signature sandwiches, signature cocktails, a huge selection of draft and bottled beer, and one of Berlin’s biggest whiskey bars – as accompanied by live music every night. BIG EASY has signed a 15-year lease at Potsdamer Platz and plans to open in May 2023.
Paul Corrett, Founder and Chairman of BIG EASY, explains his reasons to expand to Germany and to take their first location in Berlin at Potsdamer Platz: “For many years we have been asked to open in multiple countries around the world and Germany was a priority for us. After considerable research we decided that Brookfield Properties would be our perfect partner, with Potsdamer Platz being a truly exceptional destination for Berliners to visit, relax, have fun, and enjoy high quality lobsters, home smoked barbecue, and a wide selection of draught and bottled beer at our restaurant. We fell in love with this way of life and want to share this enjoyment and great food.” Paul Corrett went on to say, that BIG EASY is a destination venue, welcoming everyone and offering an exciting new culinary and social destination.
