Pan-European real estate investment manager AEW Europe has appointed Jérémy Convert as a Director in its investment team. Jérémy will be based in Paris and
report to Laurent Babelon, Co-head of Investments.
This appointment further strengthens the existing senior investment team, bringing valuable M&A experience at a time when the firm is increasingly structuring larger
transactions and co-investment partnerships within Europe.
Laurent Babelon AEW Europe Co-head of Investments said: “We have a dynamic investment strategy for our clients, which has seen us invest circa €2bn a year in Europe. Whilst we continue to expand our strategy across European markets with a range of investments from core to opportunistic strategies, the French market remains a key market for us and I’m delighted to see Jérémy, who has over 13 years of experience in this sector, joining our team.”
Jérémy joins AEW Europe from the Crédit Suisse group, where he was Head of Investment Banking for the real estate sector covering France and Benelux. Jeremy also previously held positions at Lehman Brothers, Société Générale and Archon Group France. Jérémy graduated from ISG and holds a Masters degree in Insurance and Finance from ESSEC business school. He is also on the board of the Club ESSEC Pierre.
