Since 2 March, the country house of the Steigenberger Hotel Treudelberg Hamburg presents itself to its guests in a new appearance. The traditional house in Hamburg’s Alstertal was completely renovated and modernised from April 2019 to February 2020.
131 rooms and suites, the restaurant, the lobby, the bar and the spa area have all undergone a total refit. “Total investment in the measures around €16 million.
The Hamburg-based architectural firm SWP and the interior design company meierei from Munich were engaged to plan and execute the construction works. “We have worked in close conjunction with our partners and hotel management to achieve perfect implementation of the idea of a modern country manor which exudes a real feel-good factor allied with individual design,” explained Bernhard Garbe, founder of the Garbe Group and owner of the Steigenberger Hotel Treudelberg. “Despite this, we have also succeeded in remaining largely true to our personal style and have been able to impart our own special touch to this charming hotel.”
Following the renovation programme, the Steigenberger Hotel Treudelberg Hamburg now offers 127 rooms in three different categories alongside four suites. It is located in the North of Hamburg and features particularly impressive natural surroundings as well as views of its own 27-hole golf course. The new Lemsahler Restaurant will provide a new culinary focus. The hotel now also includes a modern events area accommodating up to 260 persons and the Vinoble Day Spa und Country Club.
