Pan-European real estate investment manager AEW Europe has further strengthened its platform with
the appointment of Tim Hennes as Head of Asset Management Germany and Central Europe. In his
role, Tim will be responsible for creating and overseeing asset management strategies for investment
assets managed by the firm, and particularly to further expand the asset management platform in both
Germany and Central Europe. Tim will be based in Düsseldorf and will report to Stephan Boenning,
Head of Germany, who has taken on additional responsibility for Central Europe.

the German logistics market in particular.”
Germany and Central Europe are growing and important regions representing more than 16% of the
€17.6bn of assets that AEW Europe manages across Europe. Stephan Boenning’s recent promotion sees
him managing a team spread across 5 European countries; Poland, Hungary, Czech Republic, Romania
and Germany.
Prior to joining AEW Europe, Tim worked at PointPark Properties GmbH in Frankfurt as Head of Asset
Management Western Europe. He also previously worked in the Asset Management and legal team at
Heitman, where he was a Vice President and responsible for Western Europe and Joint Ventures in
Central Europe. Tim is an attorney at law and holds a legal degree from the University of Marburg,
Germany. He is member of the Bar association of Frankfurt am Main, Germany.
