Commerz Real has sold its office property at Taurusavenue 105 in Hoofddorp, The Netherlands, to Perial Asset Management. The building, located in the Amsterdam-Schiphol area, has more than 9,000 square metres of office space and nearly 200 car parking spaces, has been part of the portfolio of the Commerz Real open-ended real estate fund Hausinvest since its completion in 2009 and has been leased in full to Irdeto B.V., a provider of security solutions for digital platforms, ever since. Irdeto had recently prolonged the lease agreement. “Thus we had fulfilled the prerequisites to make the best-possible use of the attractive market environment for a sale that benefits our investors,” says Martijn Houwen, Head of Real Estate Market Benelux at Commerz Real. It was agreed that confidentiality be maintained on the purchase price.
Commerz Real was advised on the transaction by the real estate service provider Cushman & Wakefield and legal advisor Houthoff. Perial Asset Management was advised by L´Etoile Properties, NautaDutilh and Royal Haskoning.
