VIP Reception at 33 Alfred Street Kicks Off CTBUH 2017
Completed in 1962, Australia’s first skyscraper, 33 Alfred Street, provided an ideal setting to open the conference. At the reception, kindly hosted by AMP Capital and sponsored by Otis Elevator Company, CTBUH Leaders and VIPs gathered on the 26th-floor rooftop deck to greet the Sydney skyline, complete with sweeping harbor views and the iconic Sydney Opera House.

Annual Leaders Meeting Sets Goals and Celebrates Successes
Over 80 CTBUH Leaders from around the world – including Trustees, Advisory Group Members, Regional Representatives, and Working Group Chairs – convened to strategize on the Council and its operations.
Registration Formally Opens Alongside Exhibition Suites
Throughout the afternoon, delegates began streaming into the Hyatt Regency Sydney, both to complete their registration and begin exploring the expansive exhibition area. Meanwhile, the six program rooms, focused on topics ranging from Transit-Oriented Development to The Workplace Experience, finalized preparations for the coming days of engaging content.
